JSON-LD validation: valid JSON and schema.org context

Group C2 pointsrubric r1

We parse each application/ld+json block as JSON and check that its @context contains schema.org.

Why it matters

A JSON-LD block with a trailing comma, a smart quote or an unescaped newline is ignored in full, and the agent reads none of it. A block without a schema.org @context is valid JSON but has no defined vocabulary. If some blocks fail the score is 1; if all are broken it is 0.

How to fix it

  1. Run each block through a JSON linter and fix commas and quotes.
  2. Add "@context": "https://schema.org" at the top of each object.
  3. Escape line breaks and quotes inside string values.
  4. Generate the JSON with JSON.stringify in code instead of writing it by hand.

How to verify

Copy a block into a file and run jq . block.json; no error means it parses. Then re-scan this page.
