Login, paywall and cookie wall detector

Group B4 pointsrubric r1

We load the homepage and up to two internal pages and look for HTTP 401 or 402, a short page built around a password field, paywall text, and cookie or consent wall markers.

Why it matters

An agent cannot sign in, pay, or click "accept all" to continue. A page behind any of these gives it a form instead of an answer. No walls on all pages scores 4, one wall scores 2, more than one scores 0.

How to fix it

  1. Serve public marketing and documentation pages without login, and return 200.
  2. Show cookie notices as a dismissible banner; do not block the page body behind a consent wall.
  3. Remove paywall wording and isAccessibleForFree: false markup from pages that are free.
  4. Keep gated content on separate URLs so the public pages stay readable.

How to verify

Run curl -s -o /dev/null -w "%{http_code}" https://example.com/ for each key page and expect 200 with real text in the body.
